Last week our guests arrived at Loch an Eilein Cottage to escape from the hustle and bustle of their daily lives. Angela brought her camera hoping for some photographic opportunities - she couldn't have been more delighted as the opportunities were countless. We too are delighted because Angela has very kindly shared with us some of beautiful images that she captured.
Angela managed to capture some unique images of the cottage and the surrounding grounds.
This image captures the stepping stones which lead from the carpark behind the cottage right up to the front door - the mystery which lies within.
Here we can see what lies within - this image is taken from the open plan kitchen looking across to the living area.
The stunning and rather opulent mirror which sits comfortably above the mantelpiece. We love the stag antler wall lights standing proudly on either side.
We debated for a long time about whether or not to destroy this old dog kennel which sits at the back of the garden. We decided to keep it and turn it into a wood store and I'm so pleased that we did. It may be somewhat dilapidated compared to the cottage but it oozes character and looks delightful.
Taken from the kitchen window - this lovely image captures the red squirrels and crested tits playing in the tree. Our guest last week told us that at one point five squirrels were playing (and sometimes fighting) outside the window - they happily watched them for hours.
We hope that you have enjoyed seeing these images as much as we did. There are lots more images in our Gallery.
